During Fire Prevention Week, Cooley Springs-Fingerville Elementary welcomed the Cooley Springs Fire Department for an exciting and educational visit! Firefighters spoke with students about the importance of fire safety, preparing for emergencies, and having a plan in place to keep themselves and their families safe.

Students also had the opportunity to get an up-close look at a fire truck and explore the equipment firefighters use to protect our community. This hands-on experience brought their learning to life and helped students better understand the important role firefighters play in keeping us safe.

We are incredibly grateful to the Cooley Springs Fire Department for taking the time to educate our students and provide such a memorable learning experience. Their commitment to serving our community extends beyond responding to emergencies, and we appreciate their partnership in helping our Cubs stay safe!
